**Bernie's Notes**

Thank you for your support of the TCN over the past year. That support came in many ways; donations, story suggestions, words of encouragement, passing along of the TCN to others and simply being a subscriber. There are over 7,400 of you from around the world and I'm grateful for being invited into your inbox each weekday. I look forward to another year of sharing transportation news in 2011.

Friday Bonus

As 2010 ends many look back over 2010 and ahead to 2011. I thought it might be interesting to see a series of ads from AT&T in 1993 that looked ahead at some of the technology we might one day see. Many of the predictions are products we take for granted today such as the Kindle, electronic toll collection and GPS. By the way, I think they need to slow down a bit going through that toll lane.
