A lot of idling means a lot of fuel being wasted for nothing especially with multiple vehicles in a fleet. There are trucking companies which have managed to considerably reduce their fleet vehicles idling time due to gps for fleet management, thus saving hundreds of dollars on fuel costs weekly.
