Friday Bonus
This week's bonus is a little different.  As a life-long New Jersey resident (not counting six months as a Hoosier) I thought it would be interesting to see if I could collect a unique audio clip to represent each of the state's 565 municipalities.  So far there are several transportation-related clips, including modes not usually covered in the TCN, such as tram cars and steam trains.  I invite you to click on the link below and give a listen.  Just double-click on any of the photos for am brief audio tour.  More clips are being added daily.  I welcome your comments.

Upcoming Events
Fleet Safety Council Educational Conference – October 24-26 – Kitchener, Ontario

Today in Transportation History
1913 **100th anniversary** Aurel Vlaicu, a pioneering Romanian pilot and airplane builder, was killed while trying to fly over the Carpathian Mountains.
