GEWI and BMW to Demonstrate VMS2DASH at ITS World Congress
In the newest
development of vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, BMW and GEWI will
demonstrate a prototype technology called VMS2DASH. It would enable public
agencies to transmit traffic information from variable message signs (VMS) on
public roadways onto a vehicle’s in-dash information display. This would
put important traffic messages directly in the driver’s field of view,
providing information relevant to their specific location as well as their
destination. Register for the demo at GEWI booth #2805 at ITS World
Congress or for more information how TIC Connects DOTs and Navigation
