GEWI and BMW to Demonstrate VMS2DASH at ITS World Congress

In the newest development of vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, BMW and GEWI will demonstrate a prototype technology called VMS2DASH. It would enable public agencies to transmit traffic information from variable message signs (VMS) on public roadways onto a vehicle’s in-dash information display.  This would put important traffic messages directly in the driver’s field of view, providing information relevant to their specific location as well as their destination.  Register for the ride-along demo at GEWI booth #2805 at ITS World Congress.  If you are won’t be attending World Congress, click here for a TIC Features Overview video.  For more information how TIC Connects Systems – Vehicles – Travelers, visit www.gewi.com
