Reno A&E’s EverLoop™ System Achieves Benchmark for Inductive Loop Vehicle Detection Accuracy Technologies
The Buenos Aires ITS Operations Unit, under the Traffic and Transport Department of the City of Buenos Aires, recently tested six vehicle detection technologies, among which Reno A&E’s EverLoop™ prefabricated inductive loops were included. Of the six detection technologies tested, the most accurate traffic counts were provided by Reno’s EverLoop™ prefabricated inductive loops. The system’s accuracy was so high in the second test, that the loops had the distinction of replacing manual counts as the vehicle count accuracy benchmark. An overview and detailed analysis on the accuracy and performance of each technology tested is provided in the report, “A Comparison of Technologies by the City of Buenos Aires.”

Bernie’s Notes
Here’s a street scene today in front of the Finnish Parliament building as crowds awaited the arrival of Presidents Trump and Putin. Traffic was light in the city with people either on holiday or avoiding driving in the city due to the security closures for the summit.
