Transportation Communications Newsletter

Tuesday, November 16, 2021 - Cranford, New Jersey

**Bernie’s Notes**

Rather than just include this as a news link below, I want to provide a bit of background. The September/October issue of TR News is focused on what transportation learned from 9/11. A number of perspectives are shared. On page 32 is an article I wrote about the day of the terrorist attacks from the perspective of TRANSCOM, an agency I worked at for a decade in the 1980s and ‘90s. They are located just across the Hudson River from Lower Manhattan. While I was no longer working there in 2001, I was familiar with the organization and how it operated. A number of people helped me put the article together and I thank them.
