Tuesday Transportation Oddities

If you’re in the US, you’re probably familiar with the logo of the United States Postal Service. It features an eagle, apparently moving quickly. Just how fast is this eagle flying? Well, a Canadian mechanical engineer at McGill University, Andrew Higgins, kindly did the calculations to let us know this is one fast bird! He estimates it’s moving at about Mach 4.9!
