On July 20th, Michigan’s Mobility Transformation Center (MTC) unveiled Mcity, a 32-acre facility devoted to accelerating and testing connected and automated driving.  HERE will provide critical HD mapping and real-time data technologies to be used for testing connected and automated vehicles and systems under a variety of different circumstances.  At the Automated Vehicle Symposium on July 21st and July 22nd, HERE demonstrated the HD mapping and big data analytics technologies behind its HD Live Map, which helps automated vehicles understand and interpret the road network and what lies ahead

Find out more about HERE’s role with Mcity
HERE is also making HD mapping data available to companies with highly automated vehicle tests on open roads in Silicon Valley, Michigan, France, Germany and, later this year, Japan.
