Tuesday Transportation Oddities

Last week I had an item about the highways with the highest posted speed limit. Today, I go back to the beginning of the 20th Century when Connecticut became the first state to impose a state speed limit. It was 12 MPH (19 KPH) in cities and a speedy 15 MPH (24 KPH) on rural roadways.
