Tuesday Transportation Oddities
The most expensive car toll can be found on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. If you enter at the Ohio line and exit the Northeast Extension at Clarks Summit, without an E-ZPass, it will set you back $124.90. If you were to drive an eight-axle high-profile truck that weighs over 100,000 pounds, be prepared to shell out $870.60. You might find it worthwhile to get an E-ZPass. It will save you $435. PS: Take that trip before January 7, 2024. Tolls are scheduled to increase about 5%.
