Transportation Communications Newsletter

🇨🇦 Monday, July 1, 2019 - Cranford, New Jersey 🍁

**Bernie’s Notes**

I’ve recorded a special “traffic safety” version of the Waze voice prompts for the Union County Traffic Officers Association. The idea is to remind drivers before they leave and while they’re traveling to take steps to drive more safely. For example, instead of just saying, “All set, let’s go.” You’ll be reminded to buckle your seat belt. Rather than just warn you police are ahead, you’ll be asked to slow down and move over.

I’d appreciate your help in two ways. First, if you use Waze, please download the voice prompts and send me your feedback. Second, it would be a great help if you would share this link with others via social media and other methods. The prompts are appropriate anywhere in the world (both miles and kilometers version are recorded). To get the prompts just click on this link from any phone that has Waze on it. Thanks!
