Bernie's Notes – National Traffic Incident Management Responder Training

I want to let you know about a new free online course being offered by the National Highway Institute. The train was developed under SHRP2 and is provided by the FHWA Office of Operations. The training is designed for everyone involved with responding to highway incidents, including police, fire, EMS, towing, DOTs and dispatchers, among others.

I'm especially excited by the course because I'm the narrator who will guide you though. You can get more information about the course and register for it by going to http://www.nhi.fhwa.dot.gov/training/course_search.aspx?tab=0&key=133126&sf=0&course_no=133126. Please share information about the course with others who can benefit from it.

PS: That's not me who you'll see on the course. It's an old friend and colleague from my days with the I-95 Corridor Coalition, retired Virginia State Police Capt. Tom Martin.
