Tuesday Transportation Oddities

There has been lots of talk about an increase in European tourism this summer, but there are five European nations you can’t visit by flying in on a jet. Andorra, Lichtenstein, Vatican City, San Marino* and Monaco have no airports. These are the only countries in the world without an airport. All five do have at least one heliport, however.

*San Marino does have a grass airfield in Torraccia.
